Al-Kadhumiya Islamic School

Scope: Structure Design and turn key for an Islamic school (3 stories) with total built up area (4223m)
Client: Religious Authority in Najaf.
Location: Baghdad.
In the historic Al-Kadhmya district of Baghdad, this project occupies a footprint of approximately 1,400 square meters. The building is a three-story structure constructed using a flat slab system with edge beams for optimal structural integrity.
Despite the logistical challenges posed by the narrow streets of the old city, New Path successfully completed the structural framework within an ideal timeframe. Impressed by the team’s efficiency and expertise, the client entrusted New Path with the execution of the architectural finishing works. These works include the design and implementation of an Islamic-themed façade, featuring traditional motifs and detailing across both the interior and exterior elevations.
